A while ago I mentioned I was vise shopping. Last weekend I went to a swap meet with some friends, and got a good deal on an older 6" Yost, which someone has painted ye llow. I m ounted it to the bench yesterday, and immediately put it to use while repairing the random air ratchet I’ve had for years that never worked (like many things, it was given to me not working; needed a good clean out and lube ).
This concludes my vise shopping. Did I mention this was almost at the back of the swap meet? It was a long walk back to the car with an armful of vise.
Next up: some more shelving, hardware organization (the need can be readily seen in the background of the above picture), maybe some air tool organization, then welding equipment.
